Holmes AI, Inc. is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, bank, insurance producer, tax preparer or law firm, and is not registered with the SEC, FINRA or any state securities regulator. Using Artho does not create a fiduciary, advisory or professional relationship of any kind.
Artho is not a bank. It does not hold deposits. Nothing in the service is FDIC- or NCUA-insured.
Where the benchmark numbers come from
Artho's peer comparisons are built primarily from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Expenditure Survey, combined with U.S. Census demographic data and, for some categories, live retail and market sources.
Some things worth understanding about that:
- These are survey-derived estimates, modelled down to a metropolitan area, household size, tenure and income band. They are not observations of your actual neighbours.
- Survey data lags. A benchmark may reflect a period one to two years behind today.
- Where the sample for a cohort is too small to be meaningful, Artho is built to say so rather than quote a confident figure.
- Coverage is limited to U.S. metropolitan areas in the corpus. Outside them, Artho will tell you it cannot benchmark you.
- Accuracy depends on what you tell us. A wrong ZIP code, household size or rent-or-own answer produces a comparison against the wrong group.
Answers are generated by AI
Artho's responses are written by an automated language model working from the retrieved data. Artho labels where each figure came from — our benchmark data, a live source, or your own documents — so you can weigh it. Even so, automated systems can misread, miscalculate or state something confidently and wrongly. Check anything that matters before acting on it.
Prices change
Retail prices, rents and utility rates shown are accurate only as at the moment they were retrieved, and vary by store, timing and availability. Treat them as indicative.
Savings estimates and projections
Any figure describing what you "could save", and any projection of what savings might grow into, is illustrative only. It assumes you take the action, that the saving persists, and in the case of growth figures, a hypothetical rate of return. Investment returns are not guaranteed, past performance does not indicate future results, and the value of investments can fall. We do not guarantee that you will save any amount.
Commercial relationships
Artho does not currently receive commission, referral fees or other payment for recommending any merchant, product or provider. Recommendations are driven by the data, not by who pays us. If that ever changes, the relationship will be labelled at the point you see the recommendation, not buried on this page.

Artho relies on third parties, including Plaid for bank connections and various data and AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions, and their own terms may apply to you.
